Speckled Grey Cowrie Shells

Cypraeidae

Small to medium cowrie shells with a smooth, rounded back in muted grey, olive, and brown, marked with fine speckles or a delicate net-like pattern that differs from shell to shell. The underside is cream to tan, with a long narrow opening lined with small teeth on both edges. Their compact, glossy form is easy to handle and string. Sold as a natural mix, they suit jewellery and bead work, mixed craft packs, shell displays, and aquarium and terrarium use.
